Public Relations Specialist

• Study the objectives, promotional policies and business of organization to develop public relations strategies that will promote products and services.

• Discusses with management, plans and oversees informational/public relations programs to promote business patronage.

• Confers with support personnel to produce or coordinate production of advertisements and promotions.

• Contacts and meets executives of organizations to explain products and services offered, and to promote and solicit their business.

• Plans, prepares, arranges and oversees advertising and promotional material in all types of media for business.

• Arrange public appearances to increase product and service awareness and to promote goodwill.

• Recruit, assess and recommend for hiring individuals providing services and dealing with customers on behalf of Company.

• Responsible for creating strong client relationships.

Requires:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Public Relations, Communications or Sports Marketing.

• Good inter-personal skills and five years college and/or professional tennis experience. Alternatively, applicant must have five years’ experience coaching tennis. Five years’ experience is required in the Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint in post-secondary instruction and/or employment.
